Camera sensor cleaning by mail
Dark spots in the same place in every photo, worst at f/8 and beyond? That is dust and residue on the sensor — and the stubborn ones never leave with in-camera shake cleaning. We wet-clean it properly, verify it with test shots, and ship it back.
What is included
- Wet cleaning of the image sensor and low-pass filter with dedicated swabs and optical fluid
- Blower-clean of the mirror chamber, mount and viewfinder

The honest total
€30 for the cleaning + €20 tracked UPS return to most EU destinations. You ship the body to us with the courier of your choice (typically €10–25 inside the EU). No customs paperwork in either direction.
The €30 price covers interchangeable-lens mirrorless and DSLR cameras. Medium-format and cinema cameras are quoted individually after the free inspection.

Sensor cleaning — common questions
Is wet cleaning safe for my sensor?
Yes. We use dedicated sensor swabs and optical fluid on the filter stack that protects the sensor — the same method used by manufacturer service centres. Every cleaning ends with test shots on a calibrated target to verify the result.
How long is the camera away in total?
1–2 working days in the lab, plus courier transit in both directions (typically 2–5 working days each way). For most of the EU that means around a week door to door.
Do I need to send my lenses too?
No — send the body only, with the body cap fitted and the battery and memory card removed. If you suspect a lens is also throwing spots, mention it in the form and we will advise.
