The lab behind European Camera Repair
European Camera Repair is not a marketplace or a call centre. It is one independent workshop in Ancona, Italy — the same bench, the same tools and the same technicians that have traded as Fotoriparatore since 2015, now taking mail-in work from across the EU.

Four decades of know-how, one bench
The workshop has operated in Ancona since the mid-2000s and has traded under the Fotoriparatore name since 2015. It began repairing cameras and lenses for local photographers and studios; word of mouth did the rest: film bodies, DSLRs, mirrorless systems and medium-format gear started arriving from all over Italy.
What has not changed is how the work is done — one fault at a time, on the bench, by hand. Aperture units, shutters, autofocus motors, stabilizers, fungus-cleaned optical groups and full mechanical services on vintage bodies pass through here every week.
European Camera Repair extends that same workshop to photographers anywhere in the EU. Your gear reaches the exact same technicians; only the courier changes.
Inside the workshop

The technicians
The two hands that actually open your gear. No call centre, no middlemen — the person who diagnoses your camera is the person who repairs it.
