One fixed price to bring your camera back to day-one condition: professional wet sensor cleaning, firmware updated to the latest official release, and a full functional check by the technicians who repair these cameras every day. For interchangeable-lens cameras — mirrorless and DSLR.
What is included
- Wet cleaning of the image sensor and low-pass filter, with before/after test shots
- Firmware updated to the manufacturer’s latest official release
- Functional check: shutter, autofocus, exposure, dials, buttons, ports and card slots, lens mount
- A short written summary of what we found and anything worth keeping an eye on

The honest total
€60 for the full check-up + €20 tracked UPS return to most EU destinations. You ship the body to us with the courier of your choice (typically €10–25 inside the EU). No customs paperwork in either direction.
Send the body with its battery charged — we need it for the firmware update. Remove the memory card. Interchangeable-lens cameras only (mirrorless and DSLR).
Camera check-up — common questions
What happens if you find a fault during the check-up?
We tell you, in writing, with a binding quote for the repair — and nothing is done without your approval. The check-up itself is complete either way: cleaning, firmware and inspection are performed and the price stays €60.
Do you check my lenses too?
The check-up covers the camera body. If you suspect a lens problem, mention it in the form: lens work is quoted separately after the free diagnosis.
How long is the camera away in total?
1–2 working days in the lab, plus courier transit in both directions (typically 2–5 working days each way) — around a week door to door for most of the EU.
